The standard screen Infotainment system (display screen and mini Joystick) has been updated with CarPlay (this is an addition to standard spec and connects via USB or via wireless and allows to you run a sat nav apply from your phone ie Waze). Plus car has standard Cooper S features including fully working electric windows, electric mirrors, AC that is cold, CD player, Bluetooth, etc…
This has been a brilliant car – fast 1.6 Turbo and economical (typically averages 40MPG) on the motorway and A roads (I regularly commute from Derby to Chester and its great on the A50)
Well maintained – x2 new Pirelli rear tyres recently fitted (within 2000 miles) and front tyres have approx 5-6mm of tread left.
Both fuel pumps have been replaced in the last year by GermanAutomotive in Derby (the intank fuel pump and the High Pressure pump). These were replaced at a cost of nearly £1600.00. It you are buying a Cooper S, I would seriously check to see if these two pumps have been replaced & especially the High Pressure one (as these pumps are generally only available from the dealer). New OEM brake vacuum pump fitted this week.
But I need a bigger car and I am buying a new car shortly. I have lots of bills and receipts and it comes with full service history. Comes with 2 keys and it is ULEZ compliant. Comes with two sets of mats – OEM rubber mats that are great in the winter and another set of standard carpet mats.
I am picking up my new car on Saturday and so, if I have no bids by Saturday at 12:00 midday – I will end the auction and the dealer will make a profit. If there are bids I will let it run and see what it brings.
So this is a no reserve auction – if you bid and your bid is the highest – you will own the car. I have set the starting price at the same price the deliver has offered me as a trade in value £2550.00 This car (with this spec and condition) is worth far more – but I will accept the highest bid.
