Reluctant Sale, This is my 3rd Cooper S (R53) but sadly with ever growing commutes, I need a diesel. I have proudly owned this one for around 18 months and bought at around 82k miles. It’s been a real pleasure to own and will be sorely missed once sold. I am an ex BMW technician so these little mini’s are my bread and butter. I have replaced several parts during my ownership, including the alternator, front top mount bushes, numerous oil changes, gearbox oil change, spark plugs, coil pack and ignition leads were replaced at around 100k, front tyres were replaced a couple of months ago (Kumho), the rear silencer was replaced with an original BMW part and converted to a “one ball” exhaust due to several ill fitting rear silencers. Typically run on super unleaded fuel. It drives sweetly, with no knocks, bangs or rattles and the panoramic roof really makes a difference in the upcoming sunny days.Engine pulls as you would expect, no modifications have been made on this car other than the exhaust routing, gearbox is tight and direct with the clutch engaging as it should.
