I have my 1975 Mini clubman up for sale. Its not your standard mini as its got a 1600 Toyota 4AGE engine from a mk1 MR2. Its therefore quite quick as it produces more than twice the horsepower and torque you expect from a mini engine. It all works and has been reliable for the past 5 years I have owned it. The body is solid and presentable and is a genuine mk3 shell with the external drip rail. This is essentially a fast road car and it’s rough around the edges. The paintwork is patchy and would benefit from a respray, and like most minis it has rattles. The engine has hard mounts which means you are basically connected to it when you drive. Not a bad thing but it’s definitely more of a race car than a luxury cruiser. I would recommend you come and view before you buy. I would consider a swap for a VW camper.
Before you decide to buy a MINI, read its history. Find out if it has been written off or reported stolen.
