I’m not sure how much this would cost at a garage, but it does mean the main weak points of the engine have been addressed. I’ve done around 1,000 miles in the car since the rebuild to ensure everything is working ok and haven’t had any issues. Doesn’t even have an oil leak, which is novel for a Mini.
Tyres and brakes on the car are good, though 1 tyre does have a very slow puncture and does need to be pumped up every month or so.
It’s a Camden 50 which was a £5000 optional extra from new I believe and added: Dynamic Traction Control, Rally-style grille Badge, Rear JCW Spoiler, Body colour Matched Xenon Lights, Upgraded Harmon and Kardon Sound System, special Slotted 17 Inch Alloy Wheels and Spot Lamps.
The car comes with some service history and seems to have been regularly serviced in it’s life. As the car was driven on 3 cylinders for a while, I’ve had to clear the throttle pedal adaptations so fuel economy is down at around 36mpg at the moment, this should go back up to 38mpg with a bit more driving as the car learns your driving style. Cat and O2 sensors don’t seem to have been affected by this, I’ve inspected them and they all look clean and have very minimal soot in them.
Car is in the NG12 area – Would prefer bank transfer on collection, but I won’t say no to cash.
